Shawn Mendes releases new self-titled album

Shawn Mendes released his new self-titled album. This last few weeks he teased the album by releasing some songs from the album. There are 14 tracks with guest appearances by Julia Michaels and Khalid. The album includes the singles "In My Blood", "Lost In Japan", "Youth" featuring Khalid, "Where Were You In The Morning?" and "Nervous".

He has been releasing those singles for the past few weeks with a new song almost every week. "Nervous" was just released before the album dropped. The album is a balance of upbeat melodies and heartfelt slow tunes. Shawn Mendes produced the album himself with help from other big artists and producers like Ryan Tedder and Ed Sheeran. HE also got production assist from one of his idols John Mayer. Shawn Mendes has cited Justin Timberlake as a major inspiration for this album.
