Daya is all "New" in her new song

Daya released her first track since signing her first major record label deal with Interscope Records this summer. The song, named "New", is about a past relationship and was inspired by what she’s experienced in the last year. This is her first song under a label. All the prior songs she released were before she was even signed to a label. Last year she released her debut album 'Sit Still, Look Pretty'. Since then she has had two Top 40 hits, headlined a tour and won a Grammy for "Don't Let Me Down" with The Chainsmokers.

With this song she wants the show the new Daya. She is not the same girl anymore from two years ago. She also released the music video for the song. She was inspired by the movie 'The Girl on the Train' for the video. Listen to the song and watch the video here below.
