Grace VanderWaal releases "City Song"

Grace VanderWaal released her new song "City Song". This song is one of the songs that will be on her upcoming album 'Just The Beginning' which releases next week on November 3. Other songs that will be on her debut album are "Sick Of Being Told", "So Much More Than This" and "Moonlight". She is scheduled to begin her first tour, the Just the Beginning Tour, on November 5, 2017, to promote the album. As of September 2017, the tour had sold out.

This time you don't hear her trademark ukelele in "City Song", but instead you hear drums. It is just temporary that she traded her trademark, so don't worry. In the song she sings about the city and how big it is. This is what she said about the song on Billboard: “Growing up in New York, I always loved going to the city but was always disappointed because the city is busy and dirty, but songs out there made it seem very perfect and magical. Now at age 13, I learned that it’s not about the city itself, it’s about taking something and making it your own magical dream. That was the inspiration behind this song."
