21 Savage released a powerful music video for his song "Nothin New", which is one of the songs on his latest album 'Issa'. He adresses the racial inequality with clips from Barack Obama, Colin Kaepernick and Lebron James. The video also shows images from Ferguson, Baton Rouge, and other cities around the country where protests took place after police killed unarmed black Americans. In the video you also see 21 Savage standing in the rain with an umbrella at a funeral.
The video follows a young girl whose mother is an addict and her father is in prison. It shows that same girl robbing a store, before being followed by the police and getting shot and killed. It's a deep video that deals with the systemic racism in America while showcasing it through the eyes of a young girl who lived through the cycle. This video is the first one he released from his album 'Issa'. Watch it here below.
