The Weeknd releases music video for "Call Out My Name"

The Weeknd released the music video for his song "Call Out My Name" which is on his latest EP 'My Dear Melancholy'. It's a dark and moody video which fits perfectly with the emotional song. Throughout the majority of the video, The Weeknd is alone and walking around empty streets at night singing along to the heartbreaking song.

In the video, directed by Grant Singer, The Weeknd navigates a stormy street corner, an empty theater and a haunted desert. At one point he even vomits bats. It's a dark and creepy video with cool production techniques.

This week, The Weeknd also released a docupoem for "He Was Never There" in which you see the production of the song. You see how they made and recorded the song. Hopefully The Weeknd will perform his new songs from this EP tonight at Coachella in Indio. The first weekend of the biggest music festival in the United States starts tonight in Indio, California and The Weeknd is the first big headliner. He will perform tonight and next Friday. If can't go to Coachella, but you want to see the performances, you can watch it all live on YouTube.
